Alerta De Seguridad para Precise linear accelerator

Según National Institute of Drugs and Food Surveillance (INVIMA), este evento ( alerta de seguridad ) involucró a un dispositivo médico en Colombia que fue producido por Elekta Instrument AB.

    The manufacturer states that the tables of the previous equipment may present a position error if the deposition sensors are not installed correctly during the corrective maintenance, the system has a software check to find large position errors, but the table can be placed with a margin of error > 5 mm without showing any warning, which can lead to possible adverse events on patients.
