    Medical device safety alert: invacare tdx sp power wheelchair the health canada has issued a type ii recall concerning tdx sp power wheelchair (model numbers: tdxsp-cg, tdxsp-cg-gt, tdxsp-mcg, tdxsp--mcg-gt), manufactured by invacare corporation. according to the manufacturer, the chair elevate actuator clearance is reduced and could result in the cable getting caught between the set screws and the shroud. cut or chafed wires could result in possible fire and/or chair shutdown. according to the local supplier, the affected devices have not been distributed in hong kong. if you are in possession of the affected product, please contact your supplier for necessary actions. posted 03 may 2012.
