Las notificaciones de seguridad de campo son comunicaciones sobre acciones que se pueden estar tomando en relación con un producto que se encuentra en el mercado, enviadas por los fabricantes de dispositivos médicos o sus representantes. Estas notificaciones son principalmente para trabajadores de la salud, pero también para usuarios. Pueden incluir alertas y retiro de equipos.

    1. Ensure that all device users are aware of the information provided in the attached Field Safety Notice (FSN)issued recently by Philips.  2. Users are instructed to carry out periodic inspections checking for signs of wear. 3. HeartStart MRx users who have detected accelerated cable wear are encouraged to remove the device from use and contact Philips without delay to arrange for a service.  4. Therapy cables / external paddles need replacement every three years.  5. Where possible, users should carry spare cables / paddles.
