    Siemens healthcare diagnostics is conducting a voluntary withdrawal for advia® chemistry alpamp reagent, lots 267774 and 271674 for advia 1200, 1650, 1800 and 2400 systems. siemens is found that the incidence of absorbance labels (u, u) and //// errors was increased in these lots. the absorbance labels u and u denote abnormally high absorbance exceeding the limits for blank or sample. absorbance marks //// indicate a calculation error and the system does not issue the result.
