    The evhrs sensor component can be damaged if exposed to moderate to severe surface impact. the resulting damage may not be obvious, but it may affect the ability of the system to adapt to changes in position cuffs relative to the reference height of the heart. if the hrs unit is no longer able to adjust the displayed hemodynamic values with respect to height differences, the patient could be treated with iv fluid or treated with based on inaccurate values. we received no reports of injury to patients.
